How to run Notation Software on Mac computers - English

IMPORTANT:

• If you update your MAC to macOS Ventura 13.3. or higher you need to update Wine to Wine-10.0. (uninstallation of Wine is not required)
• Your Notation Software version needs to be at least 4.0.3. For background information see here
• If you update your notation software to 5.1.2 or higher you need to update Wine to Wine-10.0. (uninstallation of Wine is not required)

Please follow the Installation Guide for Mac "Section 4. Installation of WineHQ".

The concept of Notation Software for Apple Mac PCs (macOS Tahoe, Sequoia, Sonoma, Ventura, Monterey, Big Sur, Catalina) is based on Wine. Wine is an open source software for Mac and Linux PCs. Wine is for free.

In order to use Notation Software on a Mac, Wine needs to be installed on a Mac PC first. We have compiled a little installation guide. Please perform those steps first before you install the Notation Software product.
